Welcome to the Manor Hill Owners Association Website

Hi All Owners,

A quick update to say thank you to all owners for voting to update our Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation.  We had about 206 final votes and all 8 items were voted to be changed to the suggested language.  These will be filed with the county in the near future.

I want to thank the members of the subcommittee and other volunteers (you all know who you are) who have been working on these changes for the past several weeks. You saw the process through to completion and we had successful results. It takes many hours of volunteer work to effect change and our residents have stood up to the challenge. Thank you all again for a job well done!!

The committee will continue working on changes to our Declaration of Restrictions to bring those up to date. More to come on that.

I want to give a “round of applause” and a great big THANK YOU to Jan Mondy and Deborah Fuschetti for their years of work and dedication to the Architectural Review Committee. Both have chosen to step away from the committee at this time. Their work required objectivity and fairness which was never in question. Their quick turn around with decisions was greatly appreciated by those submitting requests.  As well, their thoughtful decisions have greatly contributed to the beauty and aesthetics of our community and to maintaining the value of our homes. We couldn't have done it without them! There will be big shoes to fill for the new volunteers. Please thank them both when you see them!

To that end, we are looking for two individuals to fill the ARC positions. The following is our description of the committee:

The Architectural Review Committee shall consist of at least three persons appointed by the Board of Directors. The committee shall review and approve any proposed new building, or other structure or additions to or alterations of any existing building, or structure within Manor Hill. The committee's decisions shall be governed by and based on the recorded covenants, restrictions, and conditions running with and binding the lot/home in question as well as County and District ordinances.

If you are interested in being part of this committee, please contact me ASAP. We will have a meeting to discuss time commitment, roles, rules, procedures, etc. when the Board has appointed two new individuals.

Thank you all and I hope you are having a safe and happy summer.

Kim
