Hi Everyone,
Thank goodness we are starting to get some rain. Hopefully things will green up now.
A quick update:
- Please be patient while we “reinvent” the front entrance near the big Manor Hill sign. The paint is old and peeling and we are going to repaint it. A couple of our residents have volunteered to do so.
- As well, the old shrubs are being removed, new shrubs, plants, mulch and perhaps some rock will be placed in the area. As you can already see, the beautiful white part of the sign can now be seen better without the old shrubs in the way.
- Also, the sign which states “Manor Hill. No soliciting. Caution Golf Cart Crossing”, will be replaced with a new sign. We are in process of designing it now. (Same size and spot will be used.)
- The Enforcement Committee is busy and will be out checking on properties within the next week or so. Unfortunately, some residents have received violation notices in May. We are hoping most will be corrected without further ado.
- The subcommittee looking at our documents has made recommendations to the Board which we are in the process of reviewing. Once completed, there will be a homeowner vote to approve the changes. We would like to complete this by our next meeting in July.
- The Board will also be making a decision about which on-line voting system to use for future voting. I have narrowed it down to two companies based on quality of system, customer service, cost, ease of use and knowledge of FL statutes. More to come on this.
Thank you for your attention and patience while we are at work continuing to make the community one in which we are all proud to live in.
Kim
